Dr. Jerry Ashrafi is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist practicing on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Dr. Jerry, as his patients call him, graduated from the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine and completed his residency in pediatric dentistry at Cohen Children’s Medical Center at Long Island Jewish Hospital. At Cohen Children’s Medical Center Dr. Jerry was trained by renowned pediatric dentist Dr. Paul Crespi, where he learned to treat children with a myriad of medical conditions and special needs in a hospital setting. Dr. Jerry then entered private practice as an associate of Dr. Jed Best where through the course of a decade he would practice under his mentorship and then become his partner.
Dr. Jerry is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Dental Association. He strives to stay on the cutting edge of dental technology and best practices to treat his patients in NYC.
Dr. Jerry is a father of three young children and he “gets it!” He tries to make every dental visit fun and entertaining, and understands that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to treating children because every child is different. What sets Dr. Jerry apart is his personalized approach to treatment – Dr. Jerry takes great pride in truly getting to know his patients and families and creating lasting relationships.
Outside of the office, Dr. Jerry is a busy husband and father. He enjoys watching his kids’ little leagues as well as professional sports, and loves golf, fishing and fantasy football.
