Roxanne Jimenea is a Registered Dental Hygienist who graduated from New York City College of Technology in 2014 with an AAS in Dental Hygiene. Roxanne has been a hygienist for ten years and, with previous years of dental assisting experience, she is well rounded in all aspects of patient treatment. She specialized as a hygienist for periodontics, as well as orthodontics, before realizing she belonged in pediatric dentistry. She puts a strong emphasis on preventive dental hygiene by providing patient-centered oral hygiene care & instruction. Roxanne is a strong believer that our mouths act as the “gateway” to the rest of our body. Without good oral health, we can not truly be healthy.
Roxanne was raised in Staten Island before putting roots down in Astoria in Queens, NY. Outside of the dental world, Roxanne enjoys spending time with her family and two young daughters. She also enjoys all things Disney, arts and crafts, scrapbooking, and collecting miniatures in her spare time.
